Ambulatory Nicotine Cessation Program (ANCP) offers individual nicotine cessation counseling and support to patients working to reduce, or quit, their nicotine use. ANCP has two nationally certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists that provide counseling free of charge and work directly with the patient’s primary care provider to streamline the receipt of nicotine cessation medications and/or nicotine replacement therapy. Patients enrolled receive help that is private, confidential, and tailored to their needs.
Employees and dependents 18+ enrolled in any CU Health Plan administered by Anthem/CVS are eligible for a. Counseling b. Prescription Drugs obtained at a Retail or Home Delivery (Mail Order) Pharmacy c. Nicotine replacement therapy products obtained at a Retail or Home Delivery (Mail Order) Pharmacy when prescribed by a Provider, including over-the-counter (OTC) nicotine gum, lozenges and patches.
